For financial advisors

You already knowwhich of your clients are not organized.

You have known for years. What you have not had is a way to bring it up that does not sound like a pitch or a warning. This is that: a book you hand them, and an organizer that does the rest of the work without you in the room.

Why advisors use it

What it does for the practice.

A client who works through the Organizer arrives at their next meeting with their accounts listed, their beneficiaries checked, and their documents located, which makes your job easier before you say a word. Their family learns your name in the one week they are most likely to need it, which is the week most advisors lose the next generation. And you become the person who gave them something they used rather than something they shelved. None of that requires you to sell anything, which is the point.

The deepest advisor relationships aren't built on returns. They're built on the conversations nobody else had the courage to start.

What each client gets

Three things, per client.

  • One

    The book

Paperback, printed for your order. Sixteen chapters that open the conversation before you sit down.

  • Two

    The Legacy Organizer

An activation code for each client. More than twenty guided sections, save and return, and a finished PDF the client locks with their own password when they declare it complete. Everything they write is locked with a password only they have, the whole time.

  • Three

    A thirty minute session

You never see what a client writes in their Organizer unless they choose to share it with you. Many clients bring a printed copy or send you the PDF themselves once they are ready, and from there you can walk through it together. The session is educational and centred on the client. Anything that deserves professional attention is raised and handled in a separate appointment under your own licensing.

Shipping is included on advisor orders.

Shipping is included on every advisor order. Orders are confirmed by phone so we can set up your codes and schedule your training at the same time.

Activation codes

One code per unit. You can see what is left.

  1. Your codes arrive with your order

You buy ten units, you get ten codes. Each code works once and belongs to one client.

  2. You hand a code to a client

Give it out however suits you: in the book, in a card, in an email. A code cannot be reassigned once a client has used it.

  3. You can check your balance

You can see how many of your codes have been used and how many are still sitting there. You cannot see anything the client wrote. Nobody can.

Training

Jim trains you himself.

Not a recorded webinar. An actual conversation with someone who has been having this conversation with clients since he was nineteen and has done it more than eight hundred times.

  • How to raise it with a client without sounding alarming
  • How to use the Organizer in a review meeting
  • How to bring adult children into the conversation
  • What to do when a client says they already have a will

Compliance

What to tell your compliance officer.

Beyond the Runway is an educational book and an administrative record keeping tool. It is not a financial product, it does not contain performance claims, projections, or recommendations, and it does not reference any security, insurance contract, or annuity.

The thirty minute session included with each unit is educational and administrative only. It covers whatever the client chooses to share and where their records sit. No securities, insurance, or annuity products are discussed in that session. If a client wants a product conversation, that is a separate appointment under your firm's own supervision and your own licensing.

The client's answers are never transmitted to you, to Beyond the Runway, or to any third party. The client sets the password on their own document. You are told only that a client you gave a code to has finished, and only because that client agreed to it when they activated. Whether the client wants any follow up from you is the client's choice.

Beyond the Runway does not give financial, legal, or tax advice and takes no position on any recommendation you make.

If your firm needs this on letterhead for a review file, call 480-798-4318 and Jim will send it.

Beyond the Runway is educational and administrative. Nothing here is financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in the book, the Organizer, or the included session constitutes a recommendation regarding any security, insurance contract, or annuity. Advisors are responsible for their own licensing, supervision, and compliance obligations.
